So, I didn't update on Sunday as a few people may have noticed.  Just in case anyone is wondering (and because I wanted to do a journal) I didn't because I don't think I made enough progress to update.  I'm pumping out buildings in the city as fast as possible, but the vertical layout in the Xavian district makes it hard to build up a large area horizontally speaking; so it looks like I've made much less progress than I actually have.  I should have a big update this weekend though because I've nearly finished the Xavian boardwalk.  For those of you who don't know LavaWood is a coastal city, and I will be editing in an ocean with MCedit, but

Sorry to pull your legs but the flying city thing didn't work out.  I have pics but there's like three buildings and a street, and it seemed a bit derivative of the new Bioshock anyway.  So I started a new city on the ground with a varied but decidedly Victorian feel.  So the same thing on the ground.  I actually have a bunch done but it isn't very conducive to pictures so I'll have to post them later unless someone wants some pics of stuff being built.   So sorry again, but there's one teaser pic to prove I'm actually working on something this time, and not just mucking about on the forums.  :)

Due to circumstances out of my control I lost all the minecraft save games I have been using for the pics on my account.  This is due to me getting a new computer.  However, the one I have now runs minecraft much smoother, and I already have made progress on a couple awesome new saves.  One is a 18th-19th century type version of Lavawood with crazy technolgy including but not limited to Steampunk styled machinery.  The second is a replacement for the map in the Space folder.  This one will be almost entirely in space and will have more ships and stations, rather than surface-side bases.  Though I may have a few of those still.  Thanks for wai
